My Shopify store got hit with a $1,200 Facebook ad bill from a glitchy campaign I thought I'd paused

I set up a retargeting ad for my candle shop last Monday, paused it after two days, but a bug in the Meta ads manager kept it running for another week and drained my whole marketing budget before I caught it, anyone else had Facebook just ignore a pause button like that?

Call Meta support and dispute it... they reversed mine.

Wow, they actually reversed it? That's wild to me. I figured once they lock you out that's it, game over. I keep hearing stories like yours from @bettyk53 and it gives me a little hope but I'm still scared to even try calling. Every time I think about dealing with their support I just get this sinking feeling in my stomach... like I'm gonna be on hold for hours and end up more frustrated than when I started. But if it worked for you, maybe I should just bite the bullet and give it a shot.
