Paid $350 for a traffic lawyer in Edmonton and it was worth every penny

Got a speeding ticket on the Anthony Henday doing 20 over and almost just paid the fine. A lawyer I found through the Edmonton Legal Advice group charged me $350 flat to handle it and got it reduced to no demerits. Anyone else had luck with specific traffic lawyers around here?

Man, "a STEAL" is exactly right. I did the same thing last year on the Anthony Henday too actually, and I was this close to just mailing in the fine. But a buddy talked me into getting a lawyer, best decision I ever made. It's crazy how much less stressful it is when someone else handles all that back and forth with the court, you know? Like you said, it's not just about the money up front, it's keeping your insurance from going through the roof later. For three fifty to walk away clean, that's a deal I'd take again without even thinking twice.

Dude, paying for a lawyer for traffic stuff is ALWAYS the better call. I read somewhere that just paying the fine is basically admitting guilt and you get hammered with demerits anyway. My buddy in Calgary swears by this one guy who got him out of a 30 over ticket on Deerfoot Trail, no joke. You're paying for their connections and knowledge of the court system, not just their time. For $350 to dodge demerits and keep your record clean? That's a STEAL. I'd take that deal every single time over just handing my money to the government.
