Heard a guy at the hardware store say he just throws out any appliance that beeps wrong. What a waste.

My old coffee maker started beeping three times instead of once. I looked up the code online and it just needed a vinegar rinse to clear some scale. Fixed it in twenty minutes for like two bucks.

Saw my neighbor about to toss a dryer that kept beeping. We found the manual online, like matthewf64 said, and it was just a clogged lint sensor. He felt pretty silly after we fixed it with a vacuum hose.

Honestly I get why people try to fix things, but sometimes it's not worth the hassle. My time is worth more than chasing down weird beeps and cleaning sensors. I'd rather just replace an old appliance and be done with it.
