Warning: I thought those new wireless hoistway phone systems were just a gimmick
After installing one in a 12-story building in Portland last month, the call clarity during a power flicker test was way better than the old hardwired setup. Anyone else had to switch and been surprised?

Yeah, that redundancy is the real sell. My old place had a system that would probably fail if you looked at it wrong. Makes you wonder why we ever trusted a single wire with so much.
