Neighbor asked me to 'disable the encryption' on his new smart lock

He thought the encryption setting was just another annoying app notification he could turn off. I tried to explain the whole point was so strangers couldn't open his door with a cheap radio. He just stared at me and asked if I could at least make it ask for a password less often.

Cut him some slack, not everyone needs Fort Knox doors.

What's next, a screen door for a bank vault?

Exactly, it's like putting a bike lock on a semi truck. I saw a cafe last week with a huge glass door but a tiny padlock on the back gate, totally backwards. CalebA45 is right though, my own shed just has a simple latch and it's fine for keeping the neighbor's dog out.
