Showerthought: I just hit 500 hours of microneedling treatments
I was updating my client logs this morning and the total just stared back at me. Five hundred hours, all with that little pen in my hand. It kind of blew my mind because I remember being so nervous for my first one, like three years ago, on a client with rolling acne scars. My hands were shaking a little (I won't lie). Now, it's just this thing I do, but seeing that number made me think about all the skin I've seen improve, and honestly, all the quiet chats during those sessions. It's not just a service anymore, you know? It's this weird milestone that proves I actually know what I'm doing now. Has hitting a random number like that ever made you stop and really look at your own growth in this job?

Just think about all the skin cells you've poked. Five hundred hours is like, what, over twenty straight days of just needling. That's a whole month of work days, but just you and that pen. It's wild to picture the actual amount of people that adds up to.

Forget the skin cells, that's looking at it all wrong. Most of those hours are just practicing on fake skin or oranges, not real people. You're not poking that many actual clients when you factor in all the training and setup time. It sounds like a huge number but the real impact is way smaller.
