Read a study from a vet school about hoof growth rates in different seasons

I was looking at some research from the University of Florida's vet program yesterday. They tracked hoof growth on a bunch of horses for a full year and found it can slow by almost 30% in the winter months compared to summer. I always knew it varied, but seeing that exact number really surprised me. It makes me think I should adjust my trimming schedule more for my regular clients when the weather turns cold. Do you all change your visit frequency based on the season?

Mine seem to grow the same year-round.

That's actually a relief to hear, I thought it was just me. My nails have been stuck in this weird, slow-growth phase for months now, no matter what I do. I tried taking those biotin supplements for a while, but they didn't seem to change a thing.
