Shoutout to the clerk who saved the tenant union papers

City hall was clearing out storage. Almost tossed boxes of 1980s rent strike notes. One clerk spoke up and got them archived. Now those hidden stories are safe.

Seriously, what is wrong with people? They just walk away from perfectly good stuff. It's like they see an old wrench and think it's junk without even looking it up. Someone's literal treasure ends up in a storage auction because they didn't know what they had. Their loss is your gain though, so at least it works out for someone. Bet you could cash in on some of those tools if you wanted to.

Totally agree, it's crazy what people abandon. Some of that old stuff is built way better than what we have now. Makes you wonder what else is out there.
