Best approach for a major kitchen gut job?

Honestly, people make this sound like brain surgery. It's just a KITCHEN. If you have a clear idea what you want, hiring separate folks can work fine. The 'premium' for all-in-one is often for convenience, not some magic fix. They still have to deal with the same delays and problems anyone would. Save the cash if you can handle a bit of stress and phone calls. Not every job needs a full service team to avoid disaster.

PSA: I turned down a manager spot due to the drive time and it was smart

Wasn't it easy to just see that bigger paycheck and ignore the rest? I totally get that. I used to judge people who took lower paying jobs closer to home, thought they weren't ambitious. But man, hearing stories like your friend Mark's? That really shifted my view. You don't realize how much that daily grind steals from you until you see the real cost, and it's never just about the money. Protecting your actual time and energy is the real win.

Was about to toss some droopy hydrangeas, but a vinegar soak perked them right up, lmao

Remember hearing about people using coffee grounds or epsom salt for quick plant fixes too. Honestly, that vinegar trick is like giving your plant a shot of caffeine, it wakes up but then crashes hard. It forces the stems to drink but totally wrecks the soil balance, like it basically fries the roots after a while. Tbh, you see the same thing with those homemade leaf shine sprays using milk or mayo, they clog the pores. Ngl, a lot of these hacks just solve the visual problem for a day while causing a bigger one you can't see yet.
