Struggling to inject warmth into modern branding, I found inspiration in an unlikely place.
In my experience, mimicking the subtle imperfections of hand-poured concrete textures in digital backgrounds added the human touch I was missing, but your mileage may vary.

Honestly that texture trick works because it triggers a memory of touching something real. Tbh we forget branding lives in the body, not just the eyes.

Texture absolutely matters... I used a rough, recycled paper for my business cards and people always mention how it feels substantial. It really does stick with you.

Copying hand-poured concrete in digital backgrounds seems crazy at first. Tbh, I spent years making sure every pixel was perfect in my work. The idea of adding rough textures on purpose feels like a mistake. But shah.nora saying branding lives in the body hit me hard. Honestly, it makes me question if I've been ignoring how people really feel about brands. Ngl, I'm shook that something so simple could change everything.
