True, but is paper always safer? Cops can grab a notebook real quick. Digital stuff needs good passwords. Having both is smart though. I keep a notebook for contacts and ideas. But big files go on an encrypted drive. It's about balancing risk and access.

Back in college, a friend who worked on voter rights campaigns always carried a notebook. He'd jot down names and numbers after meetings, said his phone died once during a rally and he lost contacts. Made me start keeping paper copies of my own project notes. Now I see photos from protests getting taken down online, and that notebook habit makes more sense. It's like having a backup you can hold in your hand.
