Appreciation post: The calm of cosmos tidying guided my closet reorganization
Spent the weekend sorting clothes, and it struck me how methodical it felt, like mission control planning a lunar landing. Discovering a forgotten constellation poster from childhood tied it all together. Do you find mundane tasks take on new meaning with space on your mind?

My basement cleanout last winter involved tossing three garbage bags of old clothes. I kept a star chart on the washer and mentally mapped my progress like tracking satellites. This mindset shift isn't cute, it's necessary for surviving tedious work. Framing chores as cosmic order forces you to see patterns in chaos, not just mess. Your constellation poster acts as a visual anchor for that scaling of thought. Without that deliberate focus, tasks stay mundane, but with it, they become purposeful exercises in control.

Isn't it ironic how we need to astrophysicize laundry to feel in control? This cosmic framing @maryc15 mentions highlights our collective desperation to find meaning in drudgery, turning chores into a societal performance of productivity.

Orion's Belt can't compete with @maryc15's star chart for sorting socks.
