Unpopular opinion: spending $300 on a standing desk converter was dumb for me

I bought one of those big adjustable platforms that sits on your regular desk, thinking it would fix my back pain. But my tiny apartment desk can't handle the weight and now I just have an expensive paperweight in the corner. Anyone else regret buying office gear without measuring your setup first?

The useless converter is me when I try to eyeball half a teaspoon.

Eyeballing half a teaspoon is totally fine though lol. Baking is way more forgiving than people make it out to be. I've measured by vibes more times than I can count and everything turned out edible. Sometimes the slightly off measurements make things better.
