Seriously? I find too much light just gives me brutal glare off shiny tools. It actually makes some detail work harder for me in the garage. I still keep one old dim lamp around for that reason.

Oh man, that reminds me of getting weird color inspo from the most random stuff. Last week I was stuck on a project and the only thing that clicked was the neon orange and grey from those road construction barriers. Ended up using that combo for a whole set of graphics and it actually looked kinda sick. Sometimes the best ideas just hit you when you're not even trying.
