Blew $150 on an AI writing tool that just made my blog posts sound robotic
Signed up for a year of ContentBot Pro thinking it'd save me time on my weekly posts. Every article came out so stiff and unnatural I had to rewrite everything anyway. Anyone else find these tools actually slow you down more than they help?

I switched to a simpler approach after wasting money on those tools. I just use ChatGPT now to rewrite my rough notes in my own voice, then spend 15 minutes editing to make it sound like me. Way cheaper and faster than the $50 a month tools I tried before.

Push back on that, @gavins43. The paid tools actually force you to stop and think about every single sentence you write (which is why they feel slow at first) while ChatGPT makes it too easy to pump out lazy junk you'll just have to rewrite anyway. That "15 minute edit" adds up fast when you're doing it for every single post, and suddenly your "cheap" workflow is eating just as much time as the pro tool.
