Dropped $300 on a little AI voice tool for my estimates, saved me maybe 5 hours a week
I run a small concrete outfit and writing up estimates after a long day was killing me. In March I paid $300 for a year of one of those AI transcription tools that turns my rambling voice notes into a typed estimate. First week it messed up "rebar" as "ree bar" twice and my customer called confused. Now I just read the notes back before I send anything and it takes me 10 minutes instead of an hour. Curious if anyone else here uses voice AI for boring paperwork, and what you do when it mangles the trade words?
