Hit 97% accuracy on my custom model after 14 straight iterations and it scared me a little
The jump from 72% to 97% happened just because I tweaked the training data split from 80/20 to 70/30, and now I'm worried my model is just memorizing the test set instead of actually learning the patterns, has anyone else hit a suspiciously high number like that and found a way to verify it's real?

That's eerily close to my "I swear I didn't cheat" score.

Ngl Robin that hit way too close to home for me too. Honestly I remember turning in a paper in college and just holding my breath while the plagiarism checker ran, praying I hadn't accidentally copied something from my own notes without realizing it. Tbh I had a whole section that was practically word for word from some textbook I'd skimmed the night before, and I swear I didn't even remember writing it. The score came back at like 14% and I felt so guilty even though it was totally accidental. Yeah yours sounds just like that kind of innocent but suspicious score.
