Spent 4 hours debugging an AI image generator only to find out the issue was a missing comma in my prompt

I was trying to get a consistent character face for a comic project and kept getting weird distortions, checked every setting and model version. Turns out I forgot one comma in the negative prompt and that broke everything, has anyone else wasted time on a tiny typo like this?

Started keeping a checklist of common prompt typos after the same thing happened to me. Saving a few good negative prompt templates in a text file also helped cut down on those screw ups.

yeah but the thing is negative prompts really depend on the model you're using. what works great in SD 1.5 might just break things in SDXL or Flux. I learned that the hard way after copying a whole list from someone only to get weird results. probably worth noting in that text file which model each template was tested on.
