Spent $400 on an AI writing tool and it almost cost me my job

I bought the yearly plan for Jasper last month to help with client reports. It saved time at first, but then it started making up facts and numbers that I almost didn't catch. Had to redo a whole project for a big client in Chicago because of it. Has anyone found an AI tool that's actually good for detailed, factual work?

Ever tried just using the free version of ChatGPT and feeding it your own data first? That way you control the facts it works with.

Oof, @allen.cole has a point, feeding it your own stuff first is the only way to go.

Yeah, feeding it your own stuff first is the only way I trust it now. I had Claude make up a client's sales growth percentage once, it was totally wrong. What I do is paste the real data tables right into the prompt first, then tell it to summarize only what's in that paste. It still messes up sometimes but way less.
