Update: My kid's school is looking at AI tutors and I'm torn
I'm torn between seeing AI tutors as extra help for my kid or fearing they'll make teachers less needed, what do you all say?

My kid asked our Alexa for help with fractions and it tried to order a pizza. Maybe the teachers are safer than we think. It seems like the useful ones just handle extra practice without the whole class waiting. The full lesson replacements sound a bit much though, idk. I guess I'm hoping they're more like fancy calculators than substitute teachers.

I heard some schools are just using them for homework help, not replacing teachers lol.
