TIL Amazon is rolling out AI that writes product reviews for you

I was browsing some home improvement stuff last night and noticed a 'Review generated by AI' tag on a product. Clicked the button and it pulled specs and shipping info to make a paragraph. Amazon says it helps customers who don't want to type stuff out. Has anyone else seen these popping up or is just me?

Wait, so is it like... actually reviewing the product itself or just describing what's on the listing page? Because that's a huge difference right there.

Totally agree lol. I ordered a gadget once based on a glowing "review" and it was just a reworded version of the Amazon page. Got it home and it was basically useless plastic junk.
