Watched a guy demo an AI video editor at a trade show in Austin

Stopped by a booth at a small tech expo last Tuesday and this rep typed a sentence about a dog chasing a drone, 30 seconds later he had a full clip with camera angles. I was so used to cutting footage by hand on my phone that I nearly missed how fast the tool handled lighting and cuts. Has anyone else tried these text to video editors for real work, or is it still mostly hype?

Funny you mention that, my dog actually ate my old phone mid-edit and the footage was never recovered, but these tools sound way easier.
