Watched an AI write a legal brief at 2am and it cited a real case correctly
I spent 6 months calling generative AI a hype machine, but last week I asked one to draft a motion about a lease dispute in Austin and it nailed the statute number, so has anyone else seen these models get scarily good at niche tasks without any hand holding?

Man, I feel you on that. I was right there with you calling it all hype until I watched a buddy feed a stack of old HOA docs into one of these tools and it pulled out a clause nobody had noticed in like 15 years of fighting. The part that gets me is when you don't even give it hints and it still lands on the right statute or case. It is equal parts impressive and a little unsettling, not gonna lie.
1
