My brother said air fryers are just tiny ovens and it made me want to prove him wrong

He was over for dinner last week and saw me pull some wings out of my Cosori. He just laughed and said, 'You spent money on a glorified toaster oven.' So I made him try a wing, and then another. The skin was so crispy, and the inside was still super juicy, which I never get right in my big oven. It got me thinking about what the air fryer actually does better. For me, it's reheating leftovers like pizza or fries without them getting soggy, and cooking frozen stuff way faster. But now I'm curious, what's the one thing you think your air fryer does way better than any other kitchen tool you have?

Honestly my air fryer is the only reason my kids eat vegetables now. Tbh I used to serve mushy broccoli from the stove and they would just stare at it. Throw those same florets in the Ninja with a little oil and salt, and they come out crispy and almost like fries. I can't get that texture anywhere else without deep frying.

Wait really? @black.beth I gotta be honest, I feel like air fryers just dry everything out. My broccoli always ends up kinda shriveled and sad, even with oil. I mean, a hot oven with the rack up high gets it just as crispy for me, and I can do a whole sheet pan at once. Maybe it's just me but the air fryer hype feels overblown.
