My buddy's wife said air fryer chicken is "too dry" so I changed one thing

She told me she hates air fryer chicken breast because it always comes out like shoe leather. I showed her how to brine it for 30 minutes in salt water before cooking at 375 for 12 minutes and she texted me last night saying it was the juiciest chicken she's ever made. Anyone else have a go-to trick for keeping meat from drying out in the air fryer?

Tbh I tried the brine trick and ended up with the saltiest chicken of my life - guess I got a little heavy handed with the salt shaker there. Ngl my kitchen looked like a crime scene with all that salt everywhere, definitely not my finest moment in cooking. Honestly though once I got the measurements right it was incredible, like my taste buds finally decided to cooperate with me for once. Still working on not turning every brine attempt into a science experiment gone wrong though.
