Hot take: I see way too many guys using the wrong torque sequence on those new composite cowl panels, it's gonna cause stress cracks.

You're not wrong at all. Watched a guy at my field just go in a circle on a Carbon-Z Cub last week. The manual clearly says star pattern, small increments. He just cranked them down one after another. Saw a tiny hairline crack starting near the corner by the third flight. It's brutal.
