Out-of-state job sparked a fight over travel money

We drove to another state for a big alarm system install at a warehouse. Half the team thinks the extra pay and new sights are great, but the other half hates the long drive and lost time. Do you think traveling for work is worth it or not?

Wait, you drove? For a whole team and all the gear? That's wild. I would have assumed the company sprung for flights or at least a rental van. Driving a personal car that far for work is a hard no from me, the wear and tear alone would kill any extra pay. No wonder half the team is mad, that sounds like a raw deal.
