Bought a $400 Alaska fishing license package and only caught 3 fish

I went all in on a non-resident fishing package near Homer last June. Paid $400 for a combo license and a guided halibut trip that was supposed to be a sure thing. Turns out the weather turned nasty and we spent half the day anchored in a bay barely getting bites. Has anyone else shelled out big for an Alaska fishing trip that didn't deliver?

Were you able to reschedule for a better day or did they just keep your money?

@taylor_flores probably just needed to accept the L and move on. Sometimes keeping the money is their policy and that's that. Rescheduling isn't always an option when you cancel last minute.
