Vent: My 2019 F-150's block heater quit during the -47 night in Fairbanks

Here's the thing, the heater cord was plugged in at the motel all night, the timer said it cycled, but at 6am the truck just cranked and cranked and would not fire, so I sat in the cab with the seat heater on for 40 minutes waiting for a tow I never got because the truck finally caught on the 9th try, and now I'm trying to figure out if I should swap the cord, the element, or just park at my buddy's heated shop off Chena Pump Road all winter, and I want to hear what actually worked for you folks in the Interior.

Minus 47 is rough but nine tries and it fired, so the block heater probably worked fine.
