inMy coworker in Dallas kept telling me to cancel my $14.99 streaming plan, and now I feel dumb for waiting 4 months
Did you ever check if the plan was shared with anyone else before you killed it, like family leeching off your login? Tbh that is the part people never think about. I had a $9.99 music plan I kept for almost two years and the real reason I hung on was my brother was using it on his phone and I did not want the drama. Once I finally told him to get his own, it was like 20 bucks a month gone and I felt stupid for not having that talk sooner. The trick is those small charges hide behind sharing and guilt, not laziness. So before you cut the next one, ask who else is on it, because that answer is usually why it survived so long.

inAm I the only one who switched from a fern to a snake plant and finally stopped killing houseplants?
My buddy did the same thing, his fern died in two weeks but that snake plant is huge now.

inChose a $90 timing light over a $400 scan tool and it paid off
I keep a vacuum gauge in my top drawer for stuff like that. Had a truck last year that ran rough as hell and the guy swore it was the fuel pump, but the needle was bouncing all over at idle which pointed right at a burnt valve. Twenty bucks at a swap meet and it told me more in two minutes than a code reader would have. The computers only know what the sensors tell them, a vacuum gauge just tells you the truth.
