Found out the guy who voiced Vegeta in the Ocean dub only did it for 2 episodes, and I've been defending the wrong version of the show for 20 years
Looked up the original 1996 dub cast list on a wiki last night and saw Brian Drummond only got the role after the first guy quit, which means all my childhood arguments about which Vegeta voice is the real one were built on something I never actually checked, so now I'm wondering how many other anime 'facts' I picked up from friends in middle school and never bothered to look up myself.

Did you ever stop to think how many of those "facts" came from that one kid who sounded super sure of himself? My buddy spent years telling everyone that Goku's Japanese voice was done by a woman as a joke, and then he finally looked it up and turns out it was true, but he had the wrong reason the whole time. It's funny how confidence spreads faster than truth when you're twelve.
