That one Tuesday where I fixed 5 dryers in 6 hours in Springfield
Back around 2018 I had this crazy day where every single call was a dryer that wouldn't heat. Turns out the whole apartment complex on Elm Street had bad rollout switches from a batch in 2015. I swapped out 5 of them between 10am and 4pm, didnt even stop for lunch. Has anyone else run into a pattern like that where one model year just has the same part fail over and over?

Those dryers were probably from a bad production run, that's more of a fluke than a pattern.

Your mileage may vary but sometimes the real issue isn't the part itself, it's how the whole building shares a vent system that starves those dryers for airflow and makes them cycle more than usual. That one bad batch just got exposed faster because of where they happened to be installed.
