Hot take: I was dead wrong about using a pole pruner for crown thinning, not a handsaw
After fighting with a manual handsaw for 3 hours on a big red oak in Arlington last Saturday, I borrowed my buddy's 12-foot pole pruner and got the same job done in 45 minutes with way less fatigue - anyone else stubbornly stick with old tools too long before switching?
