Figured out after 15 years that I was using the search bar all wrong
I was in a forum back in 2008 and kept asking really basic questions about car repairs, getting roasted every time for not searching first. Then last Tuesday this guy just screenshot how I was typing questions into the Google bar on the page instead of the site's own search tool, and I felt like such a fool. Has anyone else had that moment where you realize you've been making some simple thing way harder than it needed to be?

Dude, the Google bar versus the site search is not exactly rocket science, but okay. You got roasted for 15 years and only now figured it out? That's a lot of time to be frustrated for no reason. At least you can finally find oil change tutorials without getting flamed, so small wins.

Just put site:reddit.com before whatever you're searching, saves the headache.
