I laughed at a $15 windshield repair kit on a road trip through Arizona...
My buddy was dead set that this little tube of resin could fix a crack running half across my windshield. I told him he was nuts, but we were stuck in Flagstaff with 200 miles to go. He followed the instructions step by step, let it cure in the sun for like 20 minutes, and I swear the crack just vanished. Still holding up three months later, and I owe him a steak dinner. Has anyone else been surprised by some cheap fix that actually worked?

Did you use the whole tube or just half of it?

Always did the full tube, but now I'm curious about cutting it in half.
