Stumbled on a tiny book nook in Savannah, now I get the hype
I was killing time before a meeting last month and ducked into this little shop on Broughton Street, not expecting much. There was a whole back room just for old field guides, and I found a 1962 bird manual with handwritten notes in the margins from some guy named Earl. It got me thinking about how much info gets lost when we just look stuff up on our phones. Has anyone else found something random like that in an unexpected spot that stuck with you?

Think about all the stuff we scroll past every day without a second glance, and then something like Earl's notes shows up and it's like the universe reminding you that there's still layers to things. It makes me wonder how many little treasures are hiding in plain sight, just waiting for someone to actually slow down and look.
