Appreciation post: how the aquarium in Denver handles sensory overload

Went to the Denver aquarium last Saturday and noticed they have quiet hours from 9-10am with dim lights and no loud announcements... has anyone else found a place that does this well for autistic visitors?

The science museum here in Dallas has a similar thing on Sunday mornings. It's super quiet and the lights are turned down low in the big exhibit halls. Made a huge difference for my nephew who gets overwhelmed easily. Have you been to any other places that do this?

Man that's really cool to hear. It's so nice seeing places actually get it and make those small changes that mean the world to some folks.
