Bought a $60 weighted blanket last year and it's been a game changer

I used to have a lot of trouble falling asleep because my mind would just race... I saw people talking about weighted blankets for anxiety and sensory stuff. I saved up and got a 15 pound one. The first night I used it, I slept through the night for the first time in months. It just feels like a calm, steady hug. Has anyone else found a simple thing that really helped with sleep or feeling overwhelmed?

Weighted blankets sound amazing for that heavy calm feeling. My weird sleep fix was getting a cheap white noise machine after my neighbor's dog started barking at night. It just drowns out all the little random sounds that would wake me up. What kind of blanket did you end up getting?

That white noise machine trick is a lifesaver. I started using a fan for the same reason and now I can't sleep without that steady hum. It just blocks out all the sudden noises that jerk you awake.

I've got a box fan that's been running for like 5 years straight. The motor noise is way better than those digital white noise tracks.
