I just went 7 days without a single meltdown, which I never thought would happen

I mean, I've been tracking my stress levels in a notebook for a while now, and hitting that full week felt huge. It wasn't about being perfect, but I figured out that turning off all my phone notifications after 6 PM made a big difference. That quiet time let me actually unwind instead of getting overwhelmed. Has anyone else found a small change that helped like this?

Turning off phone notifications after 6 PM is a solid move. I should try that, but my phone would probably just vibrate itself off the counter in protest.

Put it face down on a soft surface like a couch cushion. Can't walk off if it's got nowhere to go, right?

My friend started leaving her phone in another room during dinner and it totally changed her evenings.
