Went to the science museum last Saturday and wondered if autism is why I spent 45 minutes on one interactive display while my friends breezed through the whole place in an hour
The deep focus felt incredible but I also missed the 3D movie everyone said was amazing - is getting totally stuck on one thing a superpower or a downside, and has anyone else had this tension between diving deep and trying to keep up with others in social outings?

Okay but honestly the deep focus is kind of overrated. That 45 minutes on one thing means you missed out on everything else the museum had to offer. If you can't pull yourself away from a single display, you're not getting the full experience, you're just stuck.

Yeah was that the fluid dynamics one where you drop stuff in different shapes? I swear I missed an entire planetarium show because I got stuck on a static electricity ball once.
