Am I the only one who thought those $12 magnetic oil drain plugs were hyped up, then pulled one off a 5.3 with 180k and it was loaded

Man, that magnet was doing way more work than people give it credit for. If it grabbed that much junk at 180k, think about all the fine metal dust that would've just been floating around in the oil the whole time. Cheap part, real proof, hard to argue with results like that.
