Borrowed a thermal camera for one job, now I want my own
We had a 737 come through with intermittent AC bus trips and no logged codes, so I borrowed a Fluke thermal imager for a day and spotted a bad relay instantly by its heat pattern. That one rental cost $180, but it saved maybe 8 hours of chasing a ghost with a multimeter. Has anyone else justified buying one for a small shop, or is the rental route the smarter play?
