My tent pole snapped on the first night of the JMT last July
Was 8 miles into a 14 day solo hike and one of the aluminum poles just cracked in half. Used duct tape and a trekking pole to prop it up for the rest of the trip, but it was super annoying. Anyone have a brand of poles that actually held up in windy conditions?
