Chat with a teller at Chase last week changed how I think about fraud alerts

I was depositing a check and the teller mentioned they see so many people ignore those app notifications about suspicious activity. She said most folks just swipe them away without reading. Got me thinking... I'm probably guilty of that too. Do you actually read every alert your bank sends or do you skip most of them?

Does your wife also sit there and explain the entire plot to you before the movie even starts? That's what happens with my girlfriend and she gets mad when I zone out. @brookerobinson I eventually just started asking her to save the commentary for the car ride home, and it actually worked pretty well. We compromised on me turning off my phone and her keeping the spoilers to herself until the credits roll. It took a few arguments but now we actually enjoy movies together instead of fighting through them.
