Got a 30-day ban from my local gardening group for saying I don't like mulch
I posted that I think it's a waste of money and can hide pests, and the mod said I was 'spreading harmful misinformation'. I just keep my garden the way I want now and post pictures on my own page. Anyone else get pushback for a simple opinion on a basic task?

Yeah, the "why can't people just disagree" part really hits home. I got blocked last week just for saying I preferred a different book series. What helped me, willow_ellis, was stepping back from replying right away. I type out my angry response in my notes app instead of the comment box, wait an hour, and usually just delete it. It keeps things from blowing up.
