My town council meeting cut my mic for naming a local company that dumped waste.

I kept quiet for months thinking I was wrong, but seeing the same trucks at the river last Tuesday made me start a newsletter instead.

Cutting your mic for telling the truth is the most town council thing ever. They really went with the "if we can't hear you, it's not happening" plan. Starting a newsletter is smart, because now they can't just mute the whole town. I mean, the trucks are basically doing their own weekly news update at the river anyway.

I used to think these things got fixed quietly. Seeing it happen twice makes the newsletter a good call.
