The week my entire city forum got nuked in 48 hours

I used to post in a local city forum about zoning meetings and housing issues, nothing crazy, just regular stuff about traffic and rent prices. Then one week in July 2022, a mod deleted my thread about a new apartment complex and banned me for 'disturbing community peace' right after I called out a city councilor for a shady land deal lol. Has anyone else had a whole community get nuked by one mod going on a power trip?

Man that sucks, I had the same thing happen when I called out a corrupt HOA president.

Whoa, I actually see it a little differently though. Calling out corruption is totally fair game, but you gotta have your facts straight and know what you're signing up for (especially with HOAs, those bylaws are no joke). Sometimes a direct confrontation can backfire if you don't have the evidence or support lined up first.
