Got a 30-day ban from Reddit after posting about a wildfire evacuation that went smoothly in my town last month

I just said the emergency plan worked fine and people got out fast, and some mod accused me of downplaying climate change, has anyone else been hit for just sharing what actually happened?

Read an article about this exact thing last week actually. Seems like some moderators have their own agendas now and just use rule breaking as an excuse to silence anything they don't agree with politically. Saying a plan worked well isn't the same as saying climate change isn't real. Makes me wonder if the mod even read your post or just saw "wildfire" and reacted. Honestly feels like common sense went out the window on some of these subs.
