Got suspended from a Facebook group for asking about pricing
There's this local dog owner group I joined back in March and I've been trying to figure out what people around here actually pay for certain services. I asked if anyone had paid over $200 for a full groom on a golden retriever recently and the mods hit me with a 30 day suspension for "soliciting business advice without permission." Meanwhile there's posts every day asking who's the cheapest vet or where to get $15 nail trims. Now I'm stuck I want back in because it's good for local tips but I also feel like they were picking on me. Has anyone else dealt with mods that enforce weird random rules?

So you got suspended for asking about groomer pricing but the same group lets people post about $15 nail trims every day? That's... interesting. The mods basically told you that asking what people actually pay violates some hidden rule, but those cheap nail trim posts are basically the same thing just with a lower price point. Isn't that a pretty clear double standard?

Totally agree, that fishy double standard got me banned last month too.
