My post about the 'Biden ice cream' meme got taken down on Instagram last week
I shared that picture of the president with the melting cone, and it was gone in under an hour. I know a lot of people think any political meme should be fair game, but I actually get why platforms might pull stuff that could be seen as misleading, even if it's a joke. It happened right after I posted it around 3 PM on Tuesday. Has anyone else had a political joke removed that they felt was harmless?

Wait did your buddy @the_uma actually get away with just dimming the colors on a similar pic? That's wild. My friend Dave posted a real simple meme with just a state flag and some text about road funding and he said it got flagged within like two hours. He was just trying to make a joke about potholes nothing crazy. I guess the bots or whoever checks these things can't really tell the difference between a joke and actual misleading crap. It's frustrating cause you can't even have a laugh without worrying if some algorithm is gonna send you a warning.
